Based on customer reviews, Boongs Korean Fried Chicken offers really good food with a great atmosphere, including a wall of Ramen and a hole in the wall vibe. The sweet and spicy wings are quite large and delicious, with excellent sauce. The spicy snow dry rub is actually spicy, and the soy garlic and spicy soy dipping sauces are both so delicious. The bulgogi ribeye rice bowl is so good, with tender flavorful meat on top of warm rice. The ddeokbokki has perfect texture, delicious sauce, and a very generous portion size. The crispy chicken with soy garlic sauce is delicious, and the included coleslaw is great. The staff is really nice, explained the food, served it quickly, and were very hospitable. Service is 11/10, with staff correcting orders and offering a free drink for any inconvenience. However, the food is expensive, with a lunch special costing over $18 for 4 boned wings and fries, though the boneless wings lunch special gives more bang for the buck. It also takes long for the food to be made fresh, with waits over 20 minutes. Overall, very very good food as long as customers can afford it and are patient.
