Nicest owner ever - great local spot
We ended up at this shop almost by accident because my wife doesn’t use TripAdvisor—she uses NoseAdvisor, which may be the best advisor of all!

Buba Bureka in Greenwich Village is an absolute gem that deserves all the hype. This is the first shop in NYC dedicated entirely to burekas, the savory Middle Eastern pastry, and they've absolutely nailed it .
The pastry is incredibly flaky and buttery, think of it as a cross between a croissant and a calzone .
