They serve nothing but cold disappointment. It's all cold sandwiches and packaged pastries. With now many visitors this place gets you'd think they can at least afford a microwave to reheat the sandwiches. Id rather eat a scalding sandwich with a cold center than have to bite down into a cold sandwich straight from the fridge. I get that it's a museum but they could at least have something less unappetizing
Their website says they open at 11 AM. But when I went today 9/12 they didn’t open until 11:30 AM. The staff are nasty and rude and are not respectful.
Fire whoever is in charge of the museum food program. NY prices, fancy words like prix fixe, and rural gas station caliber offerings. Pick any bodega in the city and it’s better than this. Not worthy of the institution. See NYBG or Brooklyn Museum for what should be par for the course.
