I had an absolutely wonderful meal at this spot on 2nd Ave. Every single dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better.
The roasted duck was a highlight and paired perfectly with the fresh cucumber and scallions served on the wooden board. I also really enjoyed the delicate, dual-toned dumplings served in the bamboo steamer. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly well-prepared. I will definitely be back.

Great authentic northern China dishes overall and solid service. The place is not big; seemingly run by a family. The roasted duck is delicious, certainly not as good as the version I had in Peking but def among the best I had in the U.S. haha. The baked Wellington steak was the highlight of the night. Everyone loved it. Kids loved the lamb skewers so much we ordered it twice. Chef Huang's restaurant offers a delectable dining experience. The Beijing duck is well-spiced and sliced, while the lamb hot pot is quite spicy as promised. The signature roast duck features crispy skin and tender meat, delighting even non-meat-eaters. The restaurant is great for a party or celebration, with a private room that can well fit over 10 people. The staff is very attentive and the service was great. The rib Wellington is a kill and the fried rice contained a perfect mix of all ingredients. The Animal Ice Cream was extremely detailed and the dessert taste very good. The restaurant is homelike and quiet, perfect for lingering over dessert. The staff are friendly and accommodating, without strict time limits on dining. While the restaurant may not be a regular for some, it is a treasure worth visiting for its creative take on Chinese cuisine and delicious dishes.
