Wanted to update my review: still my favorite halal cart but some pointers:This place is called Midos on 58th and 9th ave- they have 2 different types of rice! Make sure you get half spicy and half regular! Game changer and the best!- hot sauce is VERY spicy with the spicy rice... let me tell you I usually put hot sauce on everything and make everything spicy. A street cart. with a huge cult following, that's probably not all that cult anymore. It's a tourist spot. But you still see locals like cabbies getting their food here. This place is legit. I had the lamb platter with rice. Their hot sauce is VERY HOT! A little bit goes a long way. And I like spicy stuff but this hot sauce will blow your mind! Their "white sauce' helps to quell the heat. So do the smart move and get extra white sauce if you go for the hot sauce. I hate waiting...read full review

Probably my favorite halal cart in the city. I always get the falafel over rice. It's a great and fast option for a late night bite, and the guy running the stand is super nice. Definitely worth it!
