Great ice cream option in NYC! I'm used to European gelato, which relies on simple ingredients and classic flavors, so I'm not really into this NYC hipster trend of making ice cream flavors as extreme and wild as possible. Davey's has a solid selection of some classics and not-so-classics, but all really well-made (the Roasted Pistachio was a-MAY-zing.) Portions are huge!! Sadly, I could not finish it all. This place is amazing!!! Absolutely delicious. We got the salted Carmel, cookies n cream and chocolate chip. We had waffle cones and it had a hint of cinnamon which was such a nice touch. If you happen to be in the area, definitely check it out. The employees are very relaxed and cool

What a wonderful, totally unassuming treat! Had family in town from NOLA, and we usually go to Serendipity 3 for ice cream sundaes. But since Serendipity has been closed due to Covid, we heard about Davey’s and decided to check it out. Gotta tell you- Davey’s gives Serendipity a serious run for its money on the ice cream alone.
