“An ethical, industrious family has made it their business to operate a lone deli down on Avenue B and Sixth, and they do it well.. All you might need from a bodega is well-stocked. A nod of the hat for maintaining excellent hot coffee thru the long hours of operation. Soups are solid.. goto is the ol Chicken Noodle. Extra star for Managing customers.. some of whom might be drunk and disagreeable at night. Well, you've heard of the sandwiches. They really knock it out of the park in that department. Personal challenge: come to know each of these sandwiches. Cultivate a relationship with these 'characters'.. the Biden et al.. Cash tips are welcome and deserved. Take notes.. and when ordering, use a telephone and call their maintained-for-3 decades 212 phone number. They don't give those out to any yo-yo..
Pro tip: don't eat at Tompkins--there's a tranquil garden just south across the street. And at night, walk it over to ol' Josies..“

“Been going to Faiccos for over 45 years now and nothing has changed thank goodness. The absolute best Italian cold cuts sandwiches, cheese and other specialities served by clean professional knowledgeable staff. The wrapping of the meats is a work of art in it self. Quality is amazing fresh and you can taste each item if you desire. The employees ability to cut tge meats so thin you can read the paper thru them still amazes me. Store is always very clean and workers are clean and well groomed important when they are touching your food. In 45 years never a problem never an issue
Always perfect just perfect.
Try tge home made sopresota or Italian from Italy mortadell or 8 different salami or a sandwich. Tge house made mottsorella is also amazing. Well worth the wait“

“The waiters in white coats are busy behind the counter, the menu has not changed for decades, and even the lighting seems to have remained in the last century - this is the old New York I want.“

“A truly hidden gem in the city! Happened to learn about this place from a friend who frequents the shop for their rice noodles, which they cooked for us so we knew the quality was good. We have since been back numerous times for noodles, frozen goods, fresh soy milk, and pastries! Everything is fresh and well-flavored. We got the wintermelon pastries yesterday and were worried about it being too sweet, but it was just right! Prices are also very reasonable (we purchased the wintermelon pastries, which come with 3 small pastries, a pack of rice noodles, and a soy milk all for $8). They also take credit card, which is a plus as well!“

“Just had lunch at Salumeria Biellese and… wow. The chicken parmigiana was melty, saucy perfection and the chicken valdostana was next-level—tender, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Plus, the place has that old-school deli charm and the friendliest staff. Already planning my next trip back“

“Consistently excellent food - the quality of the ingredients used is unfailing and far higher than what I’ve come to expect from a sandwich shop. My favorite place to get sandwiches/wraps in the neighborhood.
I have been meaning to stop in for a drink and try their korean food in the speakeasy (so I can’t review to that portion of the menu but would expect greatness).“

“Chill little market. Passing through as we walked to Edge, and I was starving and could not wait any longer to eat. Surprised it was a deli since I didn’t read their store name. I got a Pesto Chicken panini…it was delicious! I also bought a drink, chips and wafer cookies. I’m so glad we stopped by.“

“The best part of my morning is stopping in and always being greeted with kindness and hospitality. The menu is clear and simple, but it won’t stop them from suggesting something they think you’d enjoy.
It’s hard finding a place so quaint and personable in the city. For me it’s the fact that the owner will remember you and immediately welcome you as a friend.
I’m happy to have found this place and become a patron.
P.S. thank you for putting me onto the beef bacon“
“What I recommend about said establishment is just about everything for a long time. One new & special edition is a self portrait of one of the owners Zach Mack. Though the man’s name would imply neon electricity it’s much more tame than that. Food for thought it said artist decides to do another.“

“This cafe was across from my hotel room. Happy I came here their coffee was the best I’ve had in New York and loved that it kept on getting topped up like in the movies (from Sydney). I had breakfast which was delicious but they also hace a wide variety, excellent customer service.“

“This is the best deli in Manhattan! Been coming here for all 4 years of dental school and this family owned deli makes you feel like family. Best food, best vibes, and the absolute best service there is! I cannot recommend this place enough, you have to try it, once you do, you won't want another deli!“

“I'm grateful Yelp pointed me toward this hidden gem. The kitchen skill and staff professionalism were notable. The workers excel; greeting customers cheerfully and accommodating requests with smiles. The menu costs more than most places. I'm sincerely confident that you'll appreciate this spot like I do.“

“Best deli and market in Murray Hill/Kips Bay! They opened this past year and they were exactly what the neighborhood needed. I not only come here for their delicious sandwiches but also random groceries when I need something and don’t want to go all the way to the grocery store! Highly recommend!!“

“Sandwiches are good, but I’m not sure what’s wrong with people taking the orders at the sandwich counter.
Probably a dozen or times I’ve asked them to add certain ingredients… it’s probably there maybe 3/5 times. They’re good at making their own menu items but lo and behold you spice things up with a little remix and you may not get so lucky. By the time you get home, slip into bed and crack the foil, you’re missing the fresh red onion! Or that banana pepper tang?! You gonna go back and complain? Nahhh - but it does get my proverbial panties in a twist.“

“This place is an absolute hidden gem. Walked to it while taking my mom to an appointment. The breakfast sandwich was tasty and well cooked, the drink selection was huge for the space. Everything from Ito En teas, to Chi Sparkling water and Clearly Canadian.
The absolute star of the show was a super sweet lady that cook e the absolute best Japchae with shrimp I've had and I've been to quite a few places. Nothing like a home cooked meal at a restaurant. This was made fresh, not microwaved and made with love.
If you're in the Midtown Tunnel area by 39th and 2nd, even if you aren't close, you have to try this place. It is well worth the trip!“

“A small, rather inconspicuous little Deli but, oh boy, a hidden gem! I was there to buy water but left with a deliciously made fresh juice (made from fresh fruits & veggies). Their paninis also look top-notch and are not expensive, considering their size and amount of filling. Service was great and very friendly!! Will be a customer from now on... I recommend the place!“

“Hands down the best deli in the neighborhood. If you’re looking for a place that remembers your face, look no further. Happy staff, good food and a family friendly environment. They may be new, but they represent that old nyc soul every true NY deli has.
As a born and raised NY’er, I tip my hat to their baconeggandcheese.“

“I asked for a Pastrami Hero but needed help on what to put on it, hot or cold. The gentleman working to make my samdwich was extremely helpful in helping decide how to make it (haven't had one before) and the result was incredible.
Every time I come to NYC, I love the hospitality of these local shops. I could tell he cared about making a high quality sandwich that I would like and he succeeded.
Bravo. Thank you. I will make it a point to come back next time I am here.
My wife for the Big Chicken and said it was fantastic as well.“

“Wow what a gem of a spot, I can’t believe it took me so long to find it. I will never go anywhere else for an affordable sandwich - has literally any ingredient you’d ever want, wheat bread which is rare at spots around here, and awesome pricing.“

“I have made a point to visit this place on every trip to NYC since I first found it in 2021. You will not find better vibes nor a better BEC. I’m very happy to see they’ve expanded into a little bar area and can’t wait to come back at night and enjoy a drink.“

“I really wish I could give a five star because the sandwich I received was amazing. I’m giving four stars because the atmosphere of the entire place needs to match everything. The worker at the register was honestly just rude and had a very standoffish attitude. It almost made me want to cancel my order and walk out the store. Please do better and be more welcoming because the food is amazing and it throws everything off. This was at 3:40pm today.“

“I enjoyed the food everytime ! It’s well cooked and well made ! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about different types of food. It’s one of my favorite spots to go eat whenever I’m done with classs. I highly recommend it to people to check it out and try out the food; especially the chicken Quesadillas ?.
Vegetarian options: I haven’t tried the vegetarian options but I have confidence if I did, I would’ve enjoyed the food ?“

“Brilliant place! Highly recommend for anyone staying around the World Trade Center/FIDI area! We came here for our breakfast on the first morning of our trip to NYC and fell in love with the place, the food and the staff! We had breakfast here everyday of our 5 day trip and once for lunch. Food spot on every time and amazing service.
Not your usual tourist spot as it’s in the middle of the financial district and it’s normal customers are workers but don’t let it put you off! Go grab some breakfast!“

“Kips deli is literally heaven they have everything all the stuff you imagine they carry it , The burger patty is thick, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, exuding a mouthwatering aroma as it’s grilled to perfection. Topped with a generous layer of melty American cheese, it creates a delightful, creamy texture that complements the savory beef beautifully. The fresh lettuce, ripe tomato, and sliced pickles add a refreshing crunch, balancing the richness of the cheese perfectly. I recommend this store ❤️❤️
And edit I recently placed a catering order and was genuinely impressed!
The sandwiches were fresh, perfectly made, and beautifully arranged. Everyone loved them! The chips in the center were a great touch too. Everything was ready on time and the service was smooth and professional. Highly recommend for any event or office lunch—I’ll definitely be ordering again!“

“I dropped by Clinton Fruit Market late one night and was pleasantly surprised: this place is a serious lifesaver if you’re craving something fresh, sour, or health-conscious after hours.
What works really well
• The staff are superb. The guy at the counter went above and beyond to make the exact juice I was craving. Big thanks - customer service like that matters.
• They have a great selection of fresh items: cold-pressed juices, fruits, etc. It’s clear they care about freshness.
• Open at late hours - getting a fresh, cold-pressed juice at 10 PM was a relief. Not many places do that.
• The overall vibe is positive. Clean, well stocked, feels like somewhere you can go for healthy fare without sacrificing quality.“

“The food here is sooooo good! Stayed at the hotel across the street and we ate here everyday. Everything was tasty and so much (like the smoothies) was made from fresh not frozen ingredients. The $1.99 cheese pizza special can’t be beat either. Will definitely be returning on my next trip.“

“I love there chop cheese and really every sanwich but I hate ordering at night because the young guy with curly hair always has the phone on so that no calls go through. It's pretty annoying especially when you see there's no orders at that time. Overall love the business.“
