It was a beautiful night. We were a family of five and it was Lunar New Year's Eve. All Chinese restaurants were booked, so we decided on Dr. Clark. What a great choice! Loved the freshness of the Salmon Sashimi and the Seared yellowtail carpaccio with Hokkaido style jalapeño sauce. The Uni Risotto was delicious. The Spicy Jingisukan Lamb and Mushroom grilled at the tabletop was an eye-opening experience. Thank you for a wonderful night. We will be back.
Hokkaido Cuisine on the Spotlight @drclarkhouse Found in the most unusual place one would find an authentic Japanese restaurant, the corner of Baxter and Bayard Streets in Chinatown, is this spot named after an American scholar who was hired by the Japanese government to establish an agricultural college in Hokkaido. Absolutely loved it! Although the scallop risotto portion I got was super small, even though I got the larger size ($20). So I'd recommend getting the smaller portion ($11) and then getting something else. Still the scallop risotto was great, as well as
