Field trip is my go to. I love all the delicious choices on the menu from the jerk salmon, fried chicken, fish, braised beef and lots of rice to the homemade drinks it’s fantastic. The smells coming from the kitchen are amazing and the seasoned food is chefs kiss. Awesome and friendly staff and worth every penny. Sometimes you will see Chef JJ in the kitchen doing his thing. I’ve tried just about half the menu and will always come back for more and even specials. His rice bowls hit different. Glad Field trip is not far from where I live.

I was really excited about trying field trip. Really wanted to try the crab pockets but they didn't have any that day.
I ordered the bbq fried chicken bowl with the bbq on the side and added a piece of salmon. Side order of plantains as well.
The rice and veggies were absolutely amazing! Couldn't get enough of that... I wish I could say the same thing about the protein.. the chicken was dry and the salmon, although it was juicy it was severely unseasoned not even a pinch of salt. I also didn't quite like the bbq sauce.. I almost forgot got about the homemade rice crispy treat !! That was delicious.

Really cute place and the service was excellent. It has mostly a carribbean vibe but with a few fusions I think. Like one of us had an oxtail egg roll. I had the roasted chicken bowl and subbed brown rice. It also had pickled onions vegetables , not just carrots or broccoli but leafy greens, and an avocado type sauce. The food was delicious. I would definitely return. We went to the one in Harlem 🙌🏾

I'm so disappointed that the shrimp bowl wasn't on the menu! It was my favorite. I came from Queens just to get it. My next favorite was the braised beef bowl, but the meet was not as tender as it usually is.

I used to order from here frequently, as I've been coming here for some time. I've put several people on being how good and healthy the food was. I'm not sure if management or staffing has changed, but something shifted. The food quality has gone down significantly. I am currently eating a bowl, and the flavor profile is very different from how it used to be. The rice also has an odd texture, and the chicken is dry. I really hope things go back to how they were.

The food and service here are wonderful! Such a great way to get a creative fresh bowl to go & sit in the park, or to stay. They’re very friendly here, and allergen-conscious. A+ gluten free options

Field trip does great food fressshhhh! Black owned. Rice bowls where they care about the quality of the bowl all the way down to the rice, to the base, up to the tippity top. Even the veggies are flavorful here! 🖤

Tried the braised beef bowl. Average price for NYC, portions were good, taste was generally good.

Beef was tender. One of the sauces in the bowl was flavorful, tasty.

Love the concept of this cute little food spot! The food was exactly as the name of the restaurant describes, I field trip of flavors bursting in every bite!

I made my own bowl, had the oxtail spring roll and the Brussels sprouts. Did not disappoint!

Today we went to Fieldtrip in Harlem. There was only one person taking orders and serving the food.

Created my own bowl with help from Trisha- crispy fish, herb rice, plantain and pickled red onions, along with crab pockets and pineapple ginger lemonade. What a satisfying meal after a long day! I will be back for more.

Love this place but they changed the recipe of the crab pockets and they are not good. Hopefully the old recipe can come back. Brought my mom back and she said the same thing. They are much larger and there is less crab in them.

I’ve heard a lot of great things about field trip so I was excited to try the food. I walked down there on my break and got there a few minutes before 11 which is when it’s supposed to open. At 11 o’clock the doors still had not been opened and then after about five minutes, an employee came to the door and started to open only to close it again. When I pointed to my watch, indicating that it was after 11 o’clock, he opened the door and said “11:30. Sorry!” I had to be back at work by noon so I couldn’t wait. Super disappointed that they couldn’t open on time. Maybe I’ll try again later in the week and hopefully it’ll be open.
