Modern Spanish tapas. Not completely traditional. Very yummy. We ate everything. Lady was very nice.
Cozy place! We only interacted with one person from the staff - she acted as the bartender and waitress. The octopus and other food we ordered were delicious.
GAUDIr is a hidden gem in Harlem, offering some of the best Spanish food in the US. The restaurant has a decent cocktail selection, including Grapefruit & Basil gin and tonic, Lavender Gimlet, and the charred lemon gin & tonic. Dishes like setas, pulpo, paella de mariscos, croquetas with Serrano ham, gambas al ajillo, mushrooms with foie gras, pan con tomate, Jamón Ibérico, and churrasco are highly recommended. The grilled octopus is good, and desserts like lychee sorbet and Basque cheesecake are outstanding. The small wine list features good Spanish wines, and the service is attentive, cheerful, and exceptional. The space is quaint, non-pretentious, and guest-centric, with vegetarian options available. Prices are reasonable, making it a must-visit spot for Spanish cuisine lovers.
