Golden Hof delivered consistently good food. The soy fried chicken was well-fried with strong flavour, and the rose pasta was creamy and well-executed. The kimchi pancake stood out with large, visible pieces of kimchi and solid texture. Overall, a reliable spot with good dishes across the board.
At the price point, the portions were a bit small. Also you would think the pancakes would be the star of the show (given this is the sister restaurant of Golden Diner), but these pancakes are lowkey inedible. Some how they put way too much butter / syrup compared to the original.
Came in for a beer, bartender really cool. Has a calm vibe inside if you are looking for a spot to unwind from city madness. Didn't try the food but I would next time!

Golden Hof - Korean Bar & Grill offers consistently good food with a variety of Korean staples. The soy fried chicken is well-fried and packed with flavor, while the rose pasta is creamy and well-executed. The kimchi pancake features large pieces of kimchi and solid texture, although some find the pancakes overly buttery. Highlights of the menu include the pancakes, japchae, cucumber salad, and gochujang wings, which are generally well-received, though opinions on the wings vary. The restaurant has a calm vibe, making it a great spot to unwind, and the bartenders are noted for their friendliness. Despite some portions being small for the price, Golden Hof remains a reliable choice for those seeking quality dishes in Midtown.
