Amazing food. I had the Steak and french fries - all great . John was our server and he was so helpful. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Prime ribs lived up to our expectations and hype - tender, succulent, and lucious. I especially loved the crust with a smoky, peppery flavor throughout.
The French fries however was disappointing- too skinny for a steakhouse standard; kinda feel like they are from McDonald’s

If I could give him more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Thank you, Tshepo, for your exceptional service. We'll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend asking for him if you visit Gui Steakhouse. 👏✨

Gui Steakhouse & Prime Rib in NYC offers a memorable dining experience with high-quality food and exceptional service. The prime ribs are a standout, lived up to expectations with their tender, succulent, and luscious meat. The crust on the prime rib has a smoky, peppery flavor, making it a highlight of the meal. Sides such as creamed corn, Caesar salad with candied anchovies, and soft, fluffy bread complement the main dishes perfectly. The prime rib is well-seasoned, generously portioned, and paired beautifully with jus, offering great value for the price.
While most of the food receives praise, the French fries received mixed reviews for being too skinny and feeling like McDonald's fries, but this does not detract from the overall experience. The restaurant's interior is unassuming from the street but is nice inside, and its atmosphere is enhanced by attentive and friendly staff. Service quality is consistently noted as outstanding, with waitstaff going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Guests recommend asking for specific servers, such as Tshepo or Alejandro, for a more personalized experience.
Overall, Gui Steakhouse & Prime Rib is highly recommended for great food, attentive service, and a welcoming ambiance, making it a top choice for a special meal before a Broadway show or a casual lunch.
