On our first trip to NYC we wanted to stay relatively close to our hotel the first night and chose Lexington Brass. The food was delicious, service was perfect and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend for casual dining.
The avocado toast app was very good. Mahi tacos were as expected. Mashed potatoes side is worthy of getting. Server was busy and didn't offer to provide any assistance with the menu. Totally acceptable place to have a nice meal, however it lacked personality.

We brunch at Lexington Brass every time we are in NYC, which is 1-2 times yearly, subject to a few covid cancellations. I am strictly gluten free, and loved their gluten-free brunch options. Unfortunately those days are gone. There was one GF brunch entree, which was eggs Benedict, not my favorite. No GF waffles, no chicken sausage, those were so good. Oh well, there are other spots in the city, but I'll miss this one.
