There needs to be a better way to take sandwich orders. The first time I came here I told the guy twice I wanted a hot sandwich. It ended up being cold but it still tasted really good so I didn't think anything of it. I assumed he was just busy.The second time, there's only myself and another customer, I told him 3 times just tomatoes, no lettuce + ketchup & mayo..he even confirmed with me no lettuce. For those who cherish the old panaderías should appreciate this bodega. It’s one of the few local places left, that I’m aware of, where you can get still get breakfast latino style similar to those old bakeries. They even offer mofongo! I grew up not far from here actually. My family and I would frequent one on Lexington between 109th and 110th. It is now long gone but the memories remain.
