was in east harlem waiting for cuz to finish his tour and wow a zaro family bakery on 125th st and park means i got some time to grab a black white cookie , a plain bagel and a hot coffee beverage. decent selection of sweets , bagels , smears, sandwiches. etc, and the coffee aint bad as well. some seating inside but not as spacious as a few other locations in manhattan. always enjoy the cookies and muffins and the bagels are best when they come right out of the oven hot and chewy...read full review
Zaro's Bakery celebrates 75 years this year. I'm playing catch up on my Zaro's reviews because I love their bagels. The cakes and cookies are delicious too. This location may not even be open anymore it's been a while since I visited. As far as customer service it's standard no frills. You just tell them what you want so don't be indecisive and hold up the line. I recommend any time you are in the vicinity of a Zaro's Bakery you give them a try.

this place is amazing, i like the scenery too, the chocolate mousse cake was immaculate. the texture was amazing and so was the taste, it should be a bit healthier though. i'm not trying to have a heart attack, other than that it was amazing and i need to go again to try the coffee!!1!1!1
