The deli is located on a prominent corner location and provides a variety of nesessities (e.g. food staples, household items, sandwiches, etc.). It appears well stocked and the people who run it seem to pay close attention to what is selling (e.g. noticing what gets bought, buying the same/similar in their future supplier orders). There were not many places open on Christmas Eve in New York City and I knew that this deli, now named the "9th Avenue Gourmet Deli", its third name change in five years, would be open. It was really busy that evening because everyone had the same idea.
