Just stopped in today to try some of their breads like the olive loaf. The lady behind the counter saw my kids and said they have to try the cookies. So I bought one for them to share. I’ve never had a Chocolate chip cookie like this. It’s amazing. Needless to say I bought three more to take home. Awesome staff and delicious food.
The best bagels 🥯 in the Upper East Side!
Great family run spot. Have yet try a single item from there that I have not enjoyed. Love their sourdough (all varieties) and they slice it for you.

Orwashers Bakery is a fantastic local spot offering a wide variety of pastries, bagels, bialys, cakes, breads, and babkas. Customers highly recommend the morning bun, a flakey cinnamon pastry, and the jelly filled donut, which is made fresh to order. The New York Rye bread is a must-try, with some customers bringing home multiple loaves. The bagel appeared hand-rolled and baked well, with a nice crispy outer crust and soft interior. The bakery is pricey, but the goods are excellent. However, their pickup service is oddly managed. There are many great options in NYC, but the bakery could have more vegan options. Don't miss out on their delicious coffee, almond croissant, or the olive bread for later. Many delicious pastries offer great vegetarian options, although parking can be a challenge.
