A customer lost their wallet at Panda Express but had a positive experience when the manager helped retrieve it, stating they will continue to eat there and leave tips. Another customer tried the orange chicken and fried rice, finding the chicken to have a good sweet and sour flavor, but the vinegar was a bit strong. The fried rice was described as bland and mostly brown rice, not tasting like traditional fried rice. The customer found it to be overpriced when converted to Japanese yen. A different customer noted that out of eight staff members, only one, named Nema, provided outstanding customer service, while others were accused of gossiping and making customers feel uncomfortable. This customer did not recommend Panda Express locations in the NYC area due to the lack of customer service skills in some employees.
