Pera was the right place to have the first meaningful conversation with a good friend: smart interior design and lighting that traverse from front to back as if we are approaching a landing strip. The lighting is designed for intimacy: pendant lights hang from ceilings ; curvy cylindrical shades on wall sconces, along with lights from table lamps hide all blemishes making everyone looks young and beautiful ; an open view of the kitchen where magic of mezze is made and served with warmth; drinks are infused with flavors from dates that transported us while we shared our lives, past romantic adventures and our artistic passions.

Made a catering order for a team lunch. The group loved the Pera order! It’s a favorite for our group. It was a great process from order to delivery. We look forward to ordering again.

We hosted our Zoulette anniversary dinner at Pera Mediterranean Brasserie on Saturday, April 18 around 8:45 PM and spent approximately $3,000 for our group.

While the space itself is beautiful, the overall experience did not meet expectations. The shift manager was not welcoming, and our group did not feel accommodated throughout the evening.

During the billing process, there were moments where the interaction felt uncomfortable. The tone, body language, and looks we received while sorting out the bill felt off and, at times, came across as racially charged, which made the situation even more disappointing.

For an event of this size and investment, we expected a more professional, attentive, and respectful experience.

There is clear potential here, but guest experience especially for private events needs improvement.

I stopped in at Pera as a first-time customer for supper after a long day of business travel and was not disappointed!

The food is a great take on typical brasserie fare. My meal arrived promptly, tasted great, and prices were quite reasonable for Midtown.

Service was efficient, friendly, and extremely attentive.

My only minor complaint is that the environment can get noisy.

I would not hesitate to return.

Food was great, service was great. Nice modern Mediterranean cuisine, with an open kitchen.

We just had a private event at Pera and it was perfect from start to finish. Private dining room with sliding glass doors that comfortably seated our group of 12. We had food allergies and young children as potential challenges but the staff and the kitchen did not disappoint. I cannot say enough about our wait staff, Ionela, the manager Alice or the events manager, Emi. Ionela was grace personified as she made certain to fill our glasses and our bellies, humor the children, and always have a answer and a smile for any question or concern.

This was my first and last time. The service was terrible, the waiters were very rude. You are constantly bothered to order more. They even get annoyed by the sound of your voice. You won't receive good treatment, especially if you're not white American. They even treat people from their own country badly. Unfortunately, Mediterranean food is never like Turkey. A place that you should definitely prefer on a day when you want to waste your time and money :)

Tried the Chef Mezze Sampler at PARA Mediterranean Brasserie and it was absolutely delicious—perfect variety of flavors and beautifully presented. The ambience is stylish yet relaxed, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Service was attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place worth visiting!

A true local gem just steps from Grand Central. The service strikes that perfect balance~attentive without ever feeling rushed~so you can actually relax and enjoy your meal. The food was delicious, and beautifully prepared. It’s one of those places you keep coming back to, A great experience.
