I would give it six stars if I could. Ate spanikopita, baklava, orange pie, lentil salad, and chickpea salad. All were exceptional. Star of the show was the lentil salad as the sherry vinegar dressing really shines thru alongside the green onions. Orange pie was a powerful experience as well. Not too sweet and perfectly moist. Will be back. Yammas.
Quintessential SoHo establishment. Small, quaint and has the BEST baklava I’ve ever had (my Lebanese relatives make an authentic one which I use for comparison) and small cookies which are very flavorful without relying on a bunch of sugar in the batter. Really outstanding and the coffee is wonderful too.
Pi Bakerie has really become my go to local coffee shop in SoHo. It’s one of those places that manages to feel both casual and elegant at the same time. The space is bright, warm, and always smells like fresh baked pastries right out of the oven. They serve excellent coffee perfect for starting the morning or taking a mid day break and their Greek dishes are genuinely authentic and flavorful.
