Had a really great experience at Piccola Cucina! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and Elena was wonderful and took great care of us. Definitely try the meatballs — they were amazing. Great food, great service, and a really nice atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!
This NYC local Italian restaurant is a hidden gem. The authentic food, and amazing staff including Erica are outstanding. We especially love the relaxed vibe, which brings us right back to our many trips to Italy. Mario and I will be returning every time we are back in NYC!

Piccola Cucina Uptown is a bustling spot with a happening local NYC vibe, making reservations highly recommended. The pasta dishes, such as Pappardelle with Porcini mushrooms and Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, are cooked perfectly al dente. Highlights include the Cacio Pepe salad and lobster pasta, while the tiramisu presentation and flavor are superb, especially when prepared tableside. The food is excellent, beautifully elevated, and evokes the essence of Italy and its Mediterranean flavor profile. The staff is attentive and charming, ensuring a great dining experience; however, service can sometimes be spotty. The rice ball appetizer has great flavor, and the lasagna is a must-try, giving a feeling of being at home. The ambience is nice, with enough going on without being intruding. This is a restaurant worth returning to for gatherings with friends, family, or a significant other. The noise level can be high, but the overall vibe makes it a must-stop if in NYC.
