Pio Pio 8, is one of THE most outstanding restaurants in the city. The food is delicious and worth every coin. Some of the seating is close but the food is worth it.

Pio Pio 8 is a restaurant that offers a good dining experience with friendly service. The waitstaff are attentive, checking on tables and ensuring water glasses are full. The food is authentic and tasty, with options like the Mixed Tiradito starter, which features a citrusy sauce with raw fish, octopus, and shrimp. The Arroz con Mariscos and Lomo saltado mains are popular choices, with the seafood rice being al dente and slightly spicy, and the beef tenderloin having a slight smoky flavor. The Peruvian chicken is highly recommended and often called the best chicken ever eaten by customers. The empanada de pollo is also large and delicious, making it a great value with leftovers for the next day. The restaurant has a family atmosphere with a bar serving various drinks. It extends to a decent-sized dining area downstairs with different seating options and simple, nice decor. Overall, Pio Pio 8 provides a good dining experience with quality food and friendly service. Despite some busy nights and occasional chaotic service, most guests enjoy the food and atmosphere.
