excelente servicio y buena comida mexicana y un buen lugar familiar
They're known to have the best mole. I recommend their chilaquiles verde with beef, Enchiladas de mole with chicken. Tacos al pastor are delicious with a pineapple twist. Coffee is always fresh, made from an espresso beans. Basically a latte for the price of coffee.
Their Jamaica flower drink is awesome. For breakfast I recommend juegos ranchero, served with black beans, steamed Mexican rice and tortillas. It's pricier than a street truck, but affordable for a restaurant....read full review

Great lunch special, I had the Costillas en salsa morita. The meat was so tender and the salsa was smoky and flavorful. With the hot tortillas on the side and an agua fresca u can’t go wrong.

Pipo's Restaurant in East Harlem is a real deal and the best restaurant for authentic Mexican food. The food is very fresh, very tasty, very authentic, and always flavorful. Dishes are well-prepared, affordable, and a go-to for Harlem comfort food done with Mexican heart.
Specific standout dishes include the steak nachos, which are the star—featuring tender, seasoned beef over creamy beans, melted cheese, and fresh tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and jalapeños. The mole de olla, enchiladas, tostadas, and sopes are on another level. They also have the best burritos hands down, with delicious and tender carnitas, flavorful beans, and fluffy rice. The salsa is fresh and obviously homemade.
The restaurant is thoughtful in its preparation, ensuring items like the chips stay crisp. The workers provide quick attention and are nice. Whether local or passing through, Pipo's is absolutely delicious and definitely recommended.
