Primrose is the - and I do mean the, most secluded - tiny cafe in Albany. It is not even near the main attractions. Or on Lark Street. It is a one-bar affair with a few cushion seats and a coffee table in the middle of the room. The bar is standing room. It serves canapés, sandwiches, coffee, tea and I think salads (I'm a rugged man, I don't do salmon salad). As the other review says, it's small. But, I find it whimsical. Not exactly a café, this very small breakfast/ lunch counter seems to have more in common with an office break room... but without chairs. Located in a windowless room on the ground floor of a ten-story office building, I was surprised to find this coffee shop, even though it physically shares an interior wall (and also management) with 677 Prime steakhouse.
