Rare View Rooftop

We both had the Jamison's burger with the shot. The burger was cooked perfectly. Service was great. My only issue arose after we left. I received an email from OpenTable inquiring why my party was a no show for the reservation. Well, because when we arrived and said we were there for our 6:30, then didn't bother checking. Bottom line - I'll go back to Rare, but next I'm calling in the reservation. I'm done with using OpenTable.

We ate here twice within a few days because the food was so good and quality was excellent. It is a very popular restaurant and you do need to reserve a table (and still have a to wait a bit). Service is very good and the vibe is great. We had steak and ribs, and burger one night. We couldn’t fault it. Really nice and would definitely return. This popular restaurant attached to the Shelburne Hotel by Affinia but appears popular not just with hotel guests but with locals too - always a good sign! The bar and restaurant are noisy and vibrant and authentic. Food in New York City isn't cheap and if your idea of a reasonable price for a burger is what McDonald's charge, you'll be unhappy here.
