I passed by the spot while walking through the village and the sound of jazz music hit me so hard I had to take a seat and listen to it. Amazing ambiance to sit outside and watch the players work thier magic. Definitely recommend this spot
Great music and ambiance. Drinks were watered down horse piss. I had a headache from my lukewarm Old Fashioned before I even finished. Service also left something to be desired. Saw our waitress maybe twice in the course of the evening. And to top it off, a weird, gruff dude in a fedora--either the doorman or owner--made us and a few other tables feel very uncomfortable. Great spot for some drinks and a jazz show. Very reasonably priced vs the standard NYC cocktail bar that charges you an arm and a leg for the drink. I had the Celia which had a nice spicy taste to it and came in a unique clayish skull jar. The king island iced tea was very good as well.
