I was very disappointed in the quality of the food, seasoning, sauce. Just extremely bland. The food tasted like when you go to a fish market and you get steamed food and though that can be good that's not what you expect when you go to shaking crab. The butter and garlic sauce was very thin and just had butter and garlic And it was very oily, I don't even think it was real butter. We had to ask for seasoning. But it wasn't the same. at all. I've been in New York for a week. I've tried many different places and this is the first time I got exactly what I ordered and it was not only really good but also more food then I expected.
Wow this has to be up there in my best meals,
We had the crab, shrimp and lobster tail and added 1/2 king crab all in the garlic butter and it was out of this world and worth every penny, staff really good and very appreciative, if your in New York this is an absolute must
Thanks Tony if we revisit nyc we will definitely come back

Shaking Crab in Hell's Kitchen offers a variety of fresh seafood dishes, including snow crabs and shellfish. The catfish platter and garlic noodles are praised, and the restaurant is also known for its excellent service and amazing seafood sauces. Customers have enjoyed the seafood boil, especially with shrimp and mussels, and noted the generous owner who sometimes gives extra servings on the house. The staff is attentive, ensuring quick seating and even taking care of outerwear to prevent seafood smells. While the boils come with limited sides like one piece of corn and one potato, the crispy French fries have received positive feedback. Overall, Shaking Crab remains a popular choice for theatergoers and seafood lovers alike.
