This intimate 18-seat bar exudes a stunning, luxurious speakeasy vibe, featuring gold accents, velvet seating, and a warm, sophisticated atmosphere. The cocktails are exceptionally innovative and inventive; the coldest martini, the S&P 500, Shinji’s Gin Fizz, Tropical, Bangkok, Karrage, and Arctic Martini are all mind-blowing. The drinks are super smart, tasty, and quite strong, with layers of temperature, texture, and evolving taste. The tableside hand rolls, tuna hand roll, and caviar bites were perfect complements and absolutely delectable. The service was impeccable, highly knowledgeable, and friendly, with the bartenders showing great attention to detail. The overall experience is warm and inviting. Shinji’s is the definition of consistency. Food portions are small, though the chips n drinks are superb. Expect to spend around $90 to $120 per person. It is worth every penny for a special night.
