Was not as amazing as I had imagined from reading the reviews. Solid but for $90 including tax and tips I left still very hungry. Good thing there’s a 7th street burger

Incredible omakase spot. Very efficient but almost a little too quiet inside maybe it was just the early crowd though. Staff was incredibly attentive and

I discovered Shinn East when they first opened either right before or during Covid. Till this date, this spot is my go to omakase given their high value for money offering. It is extremely well priced for the amount of pieces that you get and the quality and freshness of their fish is excellent. Service is also excellent. Both indoor and outdoor seating are really good. Highly recommend.

This is a great Omakase spot at a very approachable price. Our server was not the friendliest but she was attentive and our interactions with her were very minimal. Our sushi chef on the other hand was great, he was friendly and very accommodating when I said I wanted to swap the uni for something else (I ended up trying it here and loved it). I thought the quality of the fish was excellent, but the rice fell slightly short. It was hard to pick some of the pieces up without them completely falling apart. Overall, this was a really nice intimate spot for some high quality and affordable Omakase.

Pros: High quality fresh ingredients for a fantastic price. Great sake and beer options. Exceptional friendly but non-intrusive service.Cons: Somewhat cramped dining space. I also felt that the chef was a little heavy handed with wasabi, which drowned the flavor of the fish for some of the pieces.Overall, I'd highly recommend Shinn east for affordable and delicious omakase. Try ordering a bottle of sake or a couple of beers to enhance the already fantastic experience.

Very clean, quick and efficient. The food was good but portioned small. Good for a very fast lunch.

Very good sushi for the price but this location is extremely small and one of the girls working here is not very friendly.
