Solera had been on my "to-visit" list for a while, but not particularly for any other reason than that I heard it was serving great food. It was by no means a "destination restaurant", but I have actually been twice now. This review reflects my first, influential visit. Great service, friendly staff, and the best patatas bravas we've had this side of the Atlantic. Steak was cooked perfectly, and Paella was great. Roomy but cozy dining area. Staff was attentive and kind. Highly recommended

The ambience can't be beat, but the price and portions could be. It's always an expensive bill at the end of the evening, but I always have a nice evening. It just could use some improvements - bigger portion sizes and less expensive.
