We were looking for an original diner in this area.We went in not sure the expert as going to be worth the price of seating for lunch in NYC.We were welcomed and served so professionally and nicely by Fernando & Luis much beyond our expectations. Food was fresh, served generously and with great care. The Cobb salad was judge and excellent (only missing some blue cheese to be perfect!), I finished it the day after.Dietary restrictions: Parler au chef cuisinier, très adaptable !

We had breakfast. Western omelet and eggs with baconFood was good, nothing special. Our toast showed up have way through our meal, but enjoyed it anyway. Want staff attentive. Just drank water so can't comment on cocktails like I usually do. Overall, an okay meal.

Hosted my birthday party here over the weekend and had the most incredible time! The staff were amazing and so flexible, the food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was so incredibly fun. All of my guests raved about how cool the venue is and how great of a deal their private party package is (open bar, open kitchen with made to order food)!!! Highly recommend checking them out for a super fun and somewhat unconventional party spot!

Amazing food and cozy atmosphere! It’s on the corner in a 1 story small building. Inside it’s like the space of a subway. I would recommend this delicious place for all! I got breakfast with my fam here!Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.

Really enjoyed this place. The food was good+ but the service and vibe were exactly what we wanted. So glad places like this are still in business.

If you are a party of 1 ( especially with snow white hair) keep walking. I was in two Sundays ago around 1:00, sat at counter for 20 minutes, was ignored after the initial, "sure sit at counter" . I didn't say anything, just left, every place has an off day. Went in yesterday little before noon, was given a menu, a few minutes later order taken, ( 3 eggs over medium, sausage split well done potatoes no toast, black coffee, pretty basic) I had to gave the order twice because they repeated it back wrong the first time. About 5-10 minutes later a plate plopped in front of me with 2 eggs one over easy, the other over easy rare and smashed, two sausage, one whole and just warmed up the other split about a quarter of the way down, a little warmer than the other, not much. I said "this is not what I ordered" , the fellow at the counter repeated the order back to me, incorrect again, I repeated what I ordered ( now the third time). At no point did anyone say, "we'll fix it, sorry" nope, So I ate in frustration, and presented with a bill for the bargain sum of $20.96, again with the incorrect order. Because I waited tables in college and grad school I can't not tip, so I tipped 15% ( have not tipped that low since well before the pandemic). What is really annoying is that walking through tables I saw diners with sausages exactly the way I like them done. So again if you are a party of one, don't bother, especially if you have white hair.

This historic dinner is very clean, the menu extremely comprehensive. The room and the counter are very pleasant and have retained their old-fashioned charm.

Not worth the money for an average diner experience. The food wasn't anything special and it was $18 for a BLT when other diners in NYC are about half that. It's a $15 minimum on your check to sit at a table (even if the place is empty), so if you're just looking to have coffee with friends, you're pushed to the bar where service is scarce. Really wished this place would be better.

Super cute old-school diner. I felt like I was in a movie and loved the ambiance. The food was delicious, but the service was not great. Our waiter was not at all friendly and it was almost impossible to get the staff's attention (to be fair it was super busy).

The kindest employees, the greatest diner vibe, and the BEST HOT CHOCOLATE for an insanely good price. If you want the best breakfast food you can possibly get for a New York morning, look no further than Square Diner.

First and foremost I have no words other than I love this place, it's cozy and what I love the most is the feeling of being at home. Great little diner in Tribeca. I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the hard working staff. I would also like to mention the service in which everyone goes above and beyond just to make the customers happy. Lastly, the atmosphere is unique which is Tribeca. I highly recommend this diner!
