AMAZING bagel. I got the everything bagel, toasted with smoked salmon, chive cream cheese, tomato, capers, onion, and cucumbers. This bagel was better than others because- the bagel was really toasted and had a crunch unlike most places. The onions were fresh (when your mouth pulsates with onion hours after you’ve eaten it- it’s cuz the onion was OLD) and they had capers! The staff was quick, friendly and the food was made with love!

Tal Bagels offers excellent bagels, praised as some of the best in NYC, with fresh and melt-in-your-mouth lox. The staff is known for being friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The bagels are a good size and texture, with the everything bagels having the perfect seasoning - not too salty and perfectly garlicky. The tofu scallion cream cheese is also excellent. Customers love the olive bagels and scallion cream cheese, as well as the generous portions of smoked salmon. The staff is described as a great family-like group who are super nice, even providing freebies like a slice of marble cake, fruit bowl, or soda for regular customers. While the ordering experience can be a bit overwhelming at times, the delicious food and great service make Tal Bagels a worthwhile destination for a bagel experience.
