the service here was beyond slow. 4 workers behind the counter, 2 people in front of me and it took them almost 15 minutes for them to even acknowledge me.great bagel after the enormous wait though at least.
I've heard of these bagels, and I happened to pass by and decided to give it a try. First impression, the place feels dirty. Maybe because it is old but did not feel clean. Grimmy, you know. There was an obnoxious old guy on the phone speaking loudly and sort of making a scene when ordering. Either a regular or owner like looking old, dude. If you love salmon, this is the place to go! They’ve got cured gravlax, lox, pastrami lox and baked salmon. I went with lox one day and gravlax the other.The consistency was perfect as was the level of toasting.
