Went in and sat at the bar for a wonderful glass of champagne to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Peter the bartender was pleasant, informative, and just such a pleasure. Servers continued to bring orders to the bar and Peter was attentive to them despite one of them, Sahid, being condescending and disrespectful to him. Upon asking Sahid a simple question myself, he was also disrespectful to me. Thank goodness we had Peter and not Sahid!! The Christmas decorations made the atmosphere...
exactly what you would expect! an afternoon pit stop for a delicious glass of champagne. for walk ins you can only (usually) sit at the bar, which is lovely however there are only 5 seats available, so pick your time wisely as otherwise you won’t be able to get a seat! i would recommend a booking but i would say sitting at the bar is much better than a table…
Great atmosphere and menu selection. I ate here twice and the food was average (heirloom tomatoes unimpressive - but the burrata was good, eggs were rubbery but the rye bread was excellent) and while there was plenty of service they seemed to cater only to a few guests.
