I had dinner plans with friends down the block, but as usual, I was on time and they were 30 minutes late. Not interested in standing alone on a chilly street, I headed to Cornelia Street Cafe. hands down the absolute BEST steak and eggs I ever had It was the juiciest steak with the most amazing flavor and the fries were SO heckin crispy!! not to mention my waiter was extremely charming as well!

Used to live in the East Village and periodically eat here for breakfast or lunch. Was (and remains) our favorite spot in NYC for quiche, French toast and other breakfast/brunch fare. Made a return trip to NYC this week and managed two visits back here over a four day trip. Was as good as ever; quiche, French toast and egg dishes were all well executed and very flavorful.
