One of the best dining and cocktail options in Turtle Bay. The nachos are one of the best deals at happy hour and very tasty. Cocktails on the regular menu are better than their happy hour offering. Dinner portions are okay size but very satisfying.

Turtle Bay Tavern, also called TBT, sits at 975 Second Avenue between 51st and 52nd Streets. The place is a popular Irish sports bar with many TV screens that show all sports and music. Staff behind the bar and on the floor are described as tremendous, awesome, and running a tight ship. Food is outstanding, solid, and pretty good. Highlights include the Tavern Burger, chicken wings, nachos, sliced potatoes served as fries, and the BEC Donut. A good pint of Guinness and other beers are served. Happy hour is called the best around. The bar feels nicely lit, comfortable, and has a straightforward vibe. The atmosphere is great for watching games, drinking, and eating. Turtle Bay Tavern is praised as a solid spot for a beer or three and a good time in the neighborhood.
