This is a very unique dining experience in NYC. We went on a Saturday night around 8:30 and there were only 2 other couples dining at the same time as us. The food was very good as was the service and I would definitely recommend the drink pairing which comes with a variety of alcohol including wine and sake. I wish it had been warm enough to check out the courtyard after our meal as it looked like a good place to sit to finish a drink when the weather is nice.
Great option in midtown for a special occasion. Everything was great and met my expectation. If you have allergy/dietary restriction, they will adjust the menu for you. Highly recommend the alcohol pairing for the omakase.

Let me tell you, Yamada Chikara NY was really astonishing. Not only was I impressed with the ambience and the atmosphere, but the food and service were great as well! Incredible food, Fried Gorgonzola was incredible without a doubt. This Fried Gorgonzola was prepared just perfectly. Staff are super courteous. They're accommodating, well-mannered and always on their game. Certainly check it out.
