Small place, big flavor! Nice photographs on the wall, friendly staff, fantastic options on the menu. Love the hand-pulled noodles, the spicy meat and fish options, the unusual items not found elsewhere on the UWS (Wulong Steam Pork with Sticky Rice, Overlord Spicy Lamb Chops!). Eater calls this little place of the "38 Essential Chinese Restaurants of NYC" and I agree!

As a Chinese person who grew up with traditional Chinese home cooking, I was pleasantly surprised with this place and how good, authentic and affordable it is, especially for the UWS and this specific neighborhood. They offer a huge variety of genuine Chinese dishes and THEY ARE ALL GREAT. I'm a big fan of supporting small businesses and great food, and highly recommend this restaurant for really legit, great Chinese food. They are also very clean and sanitary during Covid!

An unassuming restaurant at the upper end of the UWS, where the food speaks for itself. Like the decor, the food is nothing fancy, but the flavor profile is spot on. My favorite was the seafood hotpot with fresh morsuls and soup that was seasoned and spiced perfectly. The cauliflower was also tasty and satisfied. None of the food was overseasoned or oversalted as seems all too common at many other restaurants. Fast service, great prices, good portions.

The food is authentic and unique. For example, you can get duck palm, dry hot pot, or ginseng soup. Food tastes good!Sit-in service can be improved. I’ve had sit in pre-covid and service was always awkward. Like they rather focus on the delivery part of the business.

Extremely good Chinese in very simple surroundings. Now, if they would only serve wine like The Cottage this would be heaven.

Food that i would recommend for this location : Mao's pork belly, spicy dice chicken, big plate chicken which is really big portion which come with noodle, grilled lamb foreshank and their mini grilled fish. Can try their lamb chop and grilled beef ribs which is a little bit cozy. Spicy pork wonton and Chong pork dumpling are not bad too. Cold dish i used to have their shredded potato and cucumber salad. Tried the above stuff since the lockdown. Overall not too bad.

I ordered NY restaurant week menu (vegetable dry pot and sweet and sour chicken) which was great!!I’m very impressed with the dry pot! Very authentic but not so spicy. The set came with appetizer, dessert and a drink! Definitely a good deal ?

Ordered Yu kitchen spicy chicken with noodles, szechuan spicy wonton noodle soup, and got a free lamb shank (s) as part of a promotion. Loved all the dishes. Specially the chicken! Comes wih potato, some onion and bell pepper. Very tasty, a bit spicy (but ordered mild and it wasnt that spicy). Paid $40 (lamb shank was free from promo) and had enough for 4 people, so not a bad deal at all!Restaurant has small hand wipes and candy.Service was very fast (order ready before expected time). Will repeat again.

Hands down the best general tso's chicken I've had, and I've had a lot. Their dried hot pot is pretty good (a little too salty), and their food is always a bit less greasy than the usual chinese takeout spots. Highly recommend.
