TLDR; best ramen in the neighborhood! I've been to probably 20+ in midtown/UES/EV.Ambiance (5/5): The establishment is huge and spacious with the room being divided in two rooms. It's a couple restaurants combined into one (Zurutto, Tenzan, Omakase Shihou). One side has a counter/kitchen and the other a full bar. It's quiet, brightly lit, and ornate. I just want to really emphasize how great the staff are here. There was an incident when we were there that I wouldn't wish on anyone in a service position, and they handled it so well. Short version: an older white man had come in with 3 of his friends, who then left shortly afterwards. The man continued to wait, made no orders and was talking loudly on his cell. Great ramen spot.The Potato Wrapped Shrimp was good, but I preferred the Takoyaki... Which was delicious.I had the Zurutto Miso - which was quite tasty (great tea egg). My wife had the Zurutto Tantan which was a little to heavy on the oil, but still pretty good.
