“Man! Initially the name threw us off, but decided let’s just check it out. This place is amazing. The chicken parm is probably one of the best I’ve had. The buffalo chicken wrap was delicious. The place is spotless. Gives smoke shop vibes … sort of swanky for a deli shop lol.”

“We had the pork cutlets and the chicken fingers and everything was pretty good. The fries are really good. The salad bar was a great addition. My only problem is the price. $9 for a kids meal is kind of crazy and my pork cutlet which was basically a a pork fried steak was about $18 or 19 and that's just crazy expensive for what you get. But the food was good. So that's why I took off a star cuz the price was just a little crazy.”

“Delicious beer (particularly the yuzu earl grey sour, single hop IPA and smoothie sour), chicken sandwiches (and even better fries), and a great space to spend an evening. There’s a tv for big games and lovely outdoor seating. We will absolutely be back!”

“For the 2nd time now we come during your business hours and your closed. We arrived at 9pm on a Friday night and staff had shut down and were cleaning up. 5 other vehicles pulled in at the same time we did and all of us where disappointed. That was hundreds of dollars lost out on in just 1 evening. Can't imagine how many other times this has happened. Maybe you should change the sign on your door and online.”

“I live in Syracuse and every time that I make it out to Newark for work I stop at Tom wahls. yesterday was the first time I had seen a different bun. I really hope this is a temporary change because I have to be honest the burger only tasted about half as good as it usually does. the new buns are horrible”

“I gave the quality of food a 3 star because it was very salty. First time I tried the yellow rice, beans and chicken it was very salty. I tried them again the 2nd time, same thing. This third time I ordered the beef and yellow rice and some Mac and cheese on the side. The rice and beef was extremely salty that it literally gave me a headache 🤕
I really love Puerto Rican food but I won’t be returning. Food should not be that salty. I will try the Mexican restaurant next time.
Staff was friendly but the cook really needs to stop adding so much salt !! Money wasted 😞

“I do recommend however not today. I had asked/ordered under the DYI for all the veggies on a sandwich, my sister ordered a sandwich with dressing on the side. We told them it was for “here”. We got the food brought to us in a bag to go. My sister asked for the dressing on the side. I did not get a veggie sandwich I got a panini with feta cheese, tomato, spinach and onion with a pesto sauce. Granted it was busy, but today the young woman did not listen to what we asked for. It was based on what they thought we asked for. Or who knows maybe the cook misinterpreted the order. Even though I brought it to their attention, she said I asked for a very veggie panini and I told her I did not ( that was her copartner telling us it’s covered under the veggie panini, I told her when she the copartner said that i was thinking i had no clue how they were going to fit all those veggies on a panini but ok). she wanted to make it right, but we already waited over 30 mins for our to go meal which should have been for there to begin with, to even be brought to us. I threw my meal out, couldn’t even eat it I was so disappointed, my sister could not finish her sandwich or chips because there was too much dressing on the sandwich when it was supposed to be on the side. Overall today was a big disappointment and waste of 26.00 plus a nice tip in the jar. Will I go there again? Sure at some point, because really they do a good job. This is the 2nd time I’ve gone this yr, last time was for breakfast which was fantastic! I considered today a donation.”

“Stopped in to try breakfast today. The breakfast sandwich made me feel at home with yummy perfectly toasty outside with gooey buttery melted cheese inside. And the puff pastry was amazing! Such a great treat.”
