“So disclaimer; the owner of this place is a friend of mine and I'm here every few days during the open season. But I don't allow that to alter my review opinion! The open air bar has been taken over by a new owner just last year, and so far, he's doing awesome. It's a great place to just swing by for a drink and some quick and tasty food. Majority of the items are fried and would be considered awesome "drunk" food. (Especially the mini tacos!). I have yet to try something that's not good here, honestly. You can choose from multiple different common beers, and name brand liquors. The bartenders are all decent and super personable. It is outdoor, so dress accordingly. There's picnic table seating under the roof, and area to wander within the property. Oh! I almost forgot to mention that bands play here quite often too, and as someone who lives within ear shot of the music, I can confidently say they're not bad at all! Don't be afraid to stop by and socialize with whoever decides to stop by that day!“

“This place is always lively. The roast beef here is top notch, but have also tried the specials and have no complaints. The garlic parm fries are better than the local competitor and I always add them as a side to my meal. Full bar, so they are sure to have your favorite drink.Parking: Since there are other businesses and apartment buildings in the area, parking may be hard to find at times. Street parking is also available.“

“Visiting Olcott in the offseason, we looked in the greater area for a nice place to have dinner and Hilltop seemed to be our best option. When we arrived, we knew instantly that they were busy. We didn’t have reservations (there didn’t seem to be an easy way to make them beyond simply calling and hoping to get someone), but they were able to seat us quickly at a high top at the bar.The food was mostly fantastic in taste. We ordered an appetizer, two soups and two entrees. The appetizer took a while to come out but that was expected as they were busy, but the two entrees came out 2-3 minutes after the appetizer while the two soups were 10-15 minutes after the entrees. Despite this, the service was helpful, friendly and attentive.“

“Great drink prices and good pub food. A nice place to sit outside for a meal. On the downside parking was tough to find a spot, it was self-service when ordering and unfortunately they forgot one of our food items and charged for an extra drink. In their defense, it was a busy bocce night and they were quick and agreeable to fix the mix ups.“

“My brother found this restaurant when he got lost looking for another place! He loved it and said we had to try it. Three of us had the daily special, a loaded prime rib sandwich. The meat was so tender and definitely smothered in Cheeze onions and mushrooms. The fries were hand cut and fried to perfection. The forth person had the Cubano and really enjoyed it. The house made chips were well seasoned and crispy. They had a fairly extensive list of beers on tap and a great looking happy hour. It's quite a drive from my house but would definitely go back!“
