“This Place is the SPOT for BBQ. If someone tells you, you live in NY and know nothing of BBQ eat here and you will know all you ever need to know. BBQ Done and served RIGHT. Pork is pulled to order and in front of you! Pulled pork was fantastic. Ribs were better. Prices for what you get were cheap. This is high quality food and an whole lot of it. BBQ sauce is excellent”

I got a beer the bartender he was so cool and helpful... then this beautiful lady pass by with some Greek empanadas and oh boy from there it was straight to heaven 🥰🥰🥰
The flavor the mix of Ingredients are amazing, not forgetting the Greek hot salsa Man I'm telling you,
This is one of those places we call in Texas you must eat there!

The people there are extremely nice and I just love watching everyone bake their cookies, and they are very sanitary too!! Cookies are absolutely the best I come here very often. Decided to try. Always up for adventure. What a WOW! Staff from entry to restraunt were warm and friendly. Love the decor sleek and so clean. Service was great. Now the important part..the food. We both had the j*** chicken tostada which was super delicious. Ingredients were so fresh.. Right amount of spice and ingredients with a nice kick. Got a chance to speak with owner and chef. They were so proud of their restaurant and looking to hear our thoughts on our meal. We told them it was extra special. They are looking to provide fresh quality soul food to the community and I would say they exceeded our expectations. Wishing them success and looking to return on my next visit to Amityville. The outside stone work decor is so beautiful. Thank you for a great food experience. Give this place a try I believe you will not be disappointed.”

“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.”
