Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

Like I said, this was my first time eating at Olive Garden but Based on this experience, I'd go back. Of course there was one nit. After a call or two to the restaurant, I ended up speaking with the manager, Joe. He handled the situation as well as I could have ever expected. His professionalism and care for his customer was off the charts. It took me by surprise because we've all "been there" and nothing is ever done about it, oftentimes not even an apology. Joe went way above and beyond. When the food did come, it was exceptional as always. It's one thing to have great food (which they do), but it's entirely another when management actually cares and does right by their customers. Joe, your gesture was truly appreciated! “I live down the block so I'm happy this is a quality pizza place. Their regular, square vodka and chicken bacon ranch slices are great and you get good value for your dollar. The chicken bacon ranch is the best i have ever had. I would have given this place 5 stars if they made the Buffalo chicken and bbq chicken slices like they do the chicken bacon ranch. Unfortunately, those are usually my go to slices but for some reason they take a very different approach than they do the chicken bacon ranch and it definitely doesn't work. I recommend giving this place a try especially if you live in the neighborhood.“

Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

Truly from the way they make their fresh dough, choose their top of the line cheese, tomato sauce, Dearborn ham, etc, I can tell they shopped around and chose the best. From perfectly crisped meaty bacon bits, tender chicken and how they cut their produce to carmelize the onions on top so it complements the entire BBQ chicken pizza I just tried. This is the first round pizza I had from them and it didn’t disappoint. It had a nicely seasoned Parmesan garlic butter crust and the toppings were perfectly placed with just enough bbq sauce. Can we talk about their salads, too?? Quality produce with romaine lettuce cut like pros-uniform and easy to eat. And generous toppings with a yummy ranch (my favorite here) dressing. “Come here daily for salads, burrito bowls, Greek bowls. Pop Salad and El Diez menus are a great deal under 10 dollars (guacamole is free) they even have a combo with chips and drink for $10. Portions are big. You can customize everything, and it tells you in the app if anything has gluten, dairy, or nuts. Hard to review a restaurant that has this level of variety, but the healthy dishes are definitely as good as anywhere else for less money and faster service. The fast pass subscription gets you money discounted on every order automatically so it pays for itself if you come regularly which isn't a problem at a place that has everything and is open until almost midnight every day. The benefit of Wonder having everything is that the entire family can get whatever type of food they want from one location and you don't have to agree on what to have for dinner or lunch anymore. No need to wait on a line at Chipotle anymore.“

“My buddy and I went to dinner at the Grand Stage Diner on 4/10/24 prior to the Islanders game. The diner was clean, the hostess was very nice and friendly and the wait staff was excellent. We each ordered burgers w/ fries. I have to say it was one of the best cheeseburgers I ever had at a diner. Food was hot, perfectly cooked. Superb! I would definitely go back. We had the Mixed Grill which consists of lamb chop, pork chop, skirt steak and chicken. menu says "serves 2" but it easily fed 4, and I don't think I'll finish what I took home in one sitting! Also had the Mixed Grill Vegetable which goes well obviously with the protein dish. Had a Greek beer and a glass of Greek red wine. Very friendly service: the bartender, greeter, our waiter, all gave good vibes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
