I called about an order for 30 people and actually messed up the date of the order. And I went into panic mode, but they handled it like professionals without making me feel bad about my huge error! I received stellar service when I called and initially placed my order. And great communication via text. I will not hesitate to use them in the future and they handled my catering order so well. I’ve been a loyal customer since high school, and through college, living overseas and living out of state, Gold Mine is a must visit whenever I’m in town. If I were about to be executed, my last meal would be: Cajun chicken quesadilla, chips with melted cheddar, lemon chip sauce, and Dave’s pico de gallo. A little guac and sour cream on the side but honestly the pico and lemon chip are more important. The food is SO good that guac is an afterthought. Usually guac is the first thing people consider when having Mexican. My biggest fear is that Dave will retire. I wish he’d write a cookbook. My only “complaint,” if you can call it that, is that it’s primarily a takeout joint, although there are tables and you’re totally welcome to sit there and eat. I’m a sucker for ambience and I’d happily pay top dollar for waitstaff and charm out the wazoo so I can sit there with friends and have a full dining experience. Regardless, none of this changes the fact that it’s the best food in the galaxy.“

“I went on Grand Opening Day—1/3/26. This was my first time visiting a QDOBA Mexican Eats. I downloaded the app and redeemed my reward of free chips and queso sauce. I got a blend of the regular and spicy queso, which came out delicious.

I also ordered three ground beef tacos, which had the right amount of spicy seasoning, and the free guacamole was tasty and fresh.

Customer service was also superb. The owner opened the door for me when I entered the premises, and one of the managers, Michael, apologized for the sell out of all 100 free burritos, which were gone within one half hour of the 11:00 am opening. Logan, a staff member, impressed me when he asked if he could remove my empty container.

There is a drive-thru, and the place is clean and tidy.“

“I WOULD NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone after the experience I had there last night. I went out to eat with my parents and we unfortunately decided on this restaurant. We were seated immediately but basically we were the “forgotten” table. No water or drinks for 15 minutes. Waited another 15 minutes to take our appetizer and entree order. They forgot about my salad and at this point each of us needed water refills and drink refills but we would have to wait another 20 minutes for that. Other servers walking around INCLUDING THE MANAGER probably walked past our table a few times not offering to refill our drinks or take the plates out of the way. The entrees come and our server never comes back to check on us. We have finished eating our food and while I was waiting for proper service I noticed that other tables had their food packed for them. I asked another servers for boxes for the food and instead of taking our food she gave us boxes to do ourselves. I truly feel they over sat our waitress but your “team” should have been able to help her out and not make it an every man for themselves type deal. The food was okay nothing that was out of this world, but the service was truly terrible. As a result we will never be back.“

On the real, Vallarta is not talked about enough. We love their chicken and steak platter, kids chicken quesadillas, nachos and OBVIOUSLY the Puebla Burrito. It’s so fresh and healthy.

Kelly in the front is the most lovely person to yap with and the guys in the back are always smiling. If you live further than 5 min away don’t even bother calling your food order in because it will get cold, they make it so fast.

“I heard about this place from a friend and I decided to make the trip to see if it is worth the hype. Let me just tell you, it was sooo worth it! I live about three hours away from there, but after this experience, I would gladly make this drive again.

The moment I arrived, I was blown away by the atmosphere. There was good music playing, everyone was incredibly friendly, the energy was amazing, and even though there was a long line, the service was quick as I was able to get my food quickly.

Now, about the food, to me this was truly life changing. it's hard for me to find authentic flavorful Mexcian food where I live, this feels like finding a hidden gem. Every bite just made me want more. I loved it so much that I went back and placed a second order before leaving! (Had to take one for on the road!)

I'll definitely be returning every chance I get. Honsetly, they need to open a location closer to me because if I lived closer to them, you would see me there every day. If you are considering coming here, I'll tell you this: STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND GO!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!“

“4 stars - It’s definitely a good place to eat and their burritos are pretty good and don’t leave you feeling bloated and disgusted with yourself. However, I’ve noticed lately there is inconsistency with quality. It depends on who’s working and it’s noticeable that the younger staff are just there to get a paycheck. I hope management prioritizes quality and consistency moving forward. I would still recommend patronizing since overall the food is good and staff are friendly and accommodating.“

“Just discovered this little gem. Been looking for a pupusaria that also makes the cabbage slaw and red sauce authentically. THIS is the place! Ordered the queso con frijoles pupusas. SO DELICIOUS! Made fresh to order. Wasn't too salty, the cabbage slaw was perfectly marinated, the red sauce that goes with the dish are perfect together. Should have ordered more. Great price.
