“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible First K-BBQ Experience!
This was my first time trying Korean BBQ, and **Cast Iron Pot** did not disappoint!
The food was absolutely great, and the menu offers a ton of variety, so there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.
We went with a party of four on a Friday night and were thrilled to be seated with no wait at all. The service was good, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly.
We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend checking this place out!“

“First visit to Won KBBQ. Four guys for lunch. Nice looking place. Well organized operation. Interesting food preparation. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Nice selection of meats and an assortment of dipping sauces. Everything was very tasty. This was a unique dining experience for us and the seasonings and flavors were different and interesting.“

“The portions here are amazing—the chicken is juicy and flavorful, and the pork cutlet is especially impressive. It’s huge, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Definitely great value for the price, and perfect if you’re really hungry. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“This is a typical Korean BBQ restaurant and liked by many. Food is delicious. A bit expensive but not so much more than other K BBQ. Service is great. Need to choose the right time. Come early or may have to sit outdoor and wait online.“

“They are known for their duck which is really good. I tried both the regular and thinly sliced and would recommend the regular for the more “meaty” flavor as the thinly sliced was crispy and reminded me of brisket. Great service with very nice side dishes as well. Would come back!“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Overall good time. Bonchon hit right, over 5 choices. Meat was tender and flavorful. Well priced at $45 for galbi and sides. “Came here over the holidays with my family and it was pleasant surprise. I tried many Korean barbecue spots, but this one was fantastic especially if you get the sirloin. I would highly recommend the duck as well.
Service is fantastic.
They do a great job cooking it for you on the table.

“I am very familiar with the korean restaurants in the flushing area and not sure how I missed this place but have to say the food was AMAZING. Everything from the banchan (side dishes) to the meat marinade quality was excellent! Jeolla flavors came on strong (known for their deliciousness). Definitely a hidden gem! Also, recommend their dakdoritang. Probably top 3 I’ve ever had in my life. And definitely ask them to do the finisher with rice at the end for this.“

“This is the top choice among local Koreans—affordable, incredibly delicious, and with a taste that is absolutely identical to what you’d find in Korea. The only downside is that you might have to wait a bit for service, simply because the place is just so busy!“

The food is nice, meat is fresh and not too strong. The soup and banchan all have authentic korean taste
They offer free refill banchan and rice so its nice and filling enough if you are heavy eater. All side dishes are not bad so why not?
The servers are nicely taken care of us, help us with grilling, and also always update with us about the meat and everything.
Bad
The staff tried to upsell us the more expensive combo but we didn’t really need it. Have to verbally decline twice is kinda awkward.
The price is high for sure, but you can’t ask cheaper for such performance - because they truly invested in the food and services. Just say that its not for every day visit for low income .
Just visit here for special occasion, when you want to be treated nicely and eat good food. I hope the business will be there always.“

“Came here on a company dinner as a party of 13. The food was great and I enjoyed grilling the skewers. I probably wouldn’t come here again for any other situations, considering the cuisine is niche and dishes are portioned family style. A great first experience overall.“

“Amazing experience here. The quality of the meat was really good and everything tasted fresh. The staff were super attentive and helpful, always checking in and making sure we had everything we needed without being overwhelming. The atmosphere was great too lively but still comfortable. Cooking the food at the table made it fun and added to the whole experience. Definitely one of the better KBBQ spots I’ve been to and I’ll for sure be coming back.“

“Absolutely love the wood charcoal here. Accidentally stumbled here a little over a year ago and have been coming back since. Heard it was ranked #5 on the Beli app in the five boroughs below a handful of restaurants such as Cote. We always order the G1 marinated mapo galbi. The non-marinated G2 is also pretty good if you prefer your meats non-marinated. We felt that the G4 beef tongue is very small in portion size and not as tasty. We used to get the G5 pork ribs when we first visited over a year ago, but it was out of stock every time we visited for months. They had it the most recent time we visited but we felt like the quality of the cut has gone down. Overall, we love the side dishes here, but depending on the server you get, you may get variable service. They always grill and cut the meat for you, but sometimes this one server has rejected my request for an additional steamed egg despite spending $100+ each time I visit here.“

“Our family has been to Chilsung few times. For father’s day, we ordered the Prime Rib Eye Steak (Kot Deung Shim), Pork Belly (Samgyeopsal). The server cooks the meat for you. We also ordered stew Kimchi Jjigae, and the kids’ favorite,topokki (mild spicy).. They also have a wide variety of side dishes which are filling on their own, and they provide complimentary steamed egg and soup.
Service can be a little slow during busy days but we are lucky to have an accommodating server.
It's on the slightly pricier side, but the quality of meat and food , plus the thoughtful extras like probiotic drinks for the kids and ginseng drinks for the adults make it a good dinner experience“
