“My family discovered this wonderful restaurant just in time for my father's birthday. Puerto Rican restaurants are rare in Long Island, so it was a delight to come here and enjoy delicious authentic Puerto Rican food! The portions were extremely generous and all 4 of us loved every item we ordered. Felix was our server and he was very friendly and made us feel like family. I can't wait to come back and try everything we didn't get to order!“

“I usually order here for delivery quite frequently and the food is always fresh. Tonight I decided to go in the store and order which I never do! But to my surprise Yonder was so friendly! “The Jerk Loaded Plantain is such a unique concept and definitely worth trying. The flavors were incredible but I do wish it came with more jerk chicken. The plantain to chicken ratio felt a bit off. That said, the jerk chicken itself is absolutely delicious, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu that includes the jerk chicken. I’d definitely be back.“

“I tried the 6 piece lemon pepper hot wings, they were pretty tasty and flavorful. I have a high spice tolerance so it more delicious than spicy to me and could have been fried a little longer for more crunch but overall I did enjoy the wings and would recommend!“

“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. I came with a lot of family and they did a great job taking the orders and giving us an insight about what the food is. “Ordered takeout from Don Chicken on Northern Blvd and went for the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken and it did not disappoint. The pieces were pretty big, juicy inside, and had that trademark Korean fried chicken crunch: thin, shatter-crispy, never greasy. The soy garlic glaze was spot on savory, garlicky, with just enough kick to keep me reaching for another bite.

I also tried the Sweet & Spicy flavor not bad at all, just leaned sweeter than what I usually like.

What I really appreciate is how Korean fried chicken is different from the fried chicken most of us grew up with. Instead of a thick, heavy batter, it’s double-fried a method that actually came about in Korea in the 1960s and 70s when fried chicken started getting popular alongside beer (“chimaek,” short for chicken + maekju/beer, is now a whole culture). That double fry gives you the crunch without the grease, and the sauces like this soy garlic add layered flavor instead of just salt and breading.

For takeout, it traveled well too the chicken stayed crisp even by the time I got home, which tells you they’re doing it right. Generous portions, bold flavor, and that authentic K-fried crispness make the spicy soy garlic the clear winner for me.“

“We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

If you’re into bold, spicy flavors with a serious kick, this burger is a must-try. Easily one of the best spicy chicken sandwiches I’ve had.

“Let me tell you guys how amazing Donna is! i ordered food for my boyfriend and it was stolen by an uber driver, he picked up my food from this location but never confirmed picking it up on the uber app, therefore the order was still saying that it had to be picked up in the system. I called Bww and spoke to Donna and she explained that uber drivers kept coming in to pick up my food that didn't exist. Her advice was to let uber know what happened so that they can cancel the order in the system, and I could re-order it for someone to pick it up. I knew that would take some time & they were about to close in 30mins. Being that my order was still in the system , the 4th uber driver was on his way to pick up my food . I asked her if I could just put the order in with her over the phone instead of going through Uber and she was more than happy to take my order. She took my order and apologized for the wait even though it wasn't her fault , she also said she'll throw in some extra food for the inconvenience. Donna if you're reading this, thank you so much and I truly appreciate people like you, your level of customer service was excellent. You were patient and kind and i'm so glad that I got to speak with you. She definitely kept her word and added extra food to enjoy along with a cute note, i honestly couldn't be more satisfied. They gave me yellow rice with fried onions, a few green peas and and small bleached out shrimp. Fried rice should be white rice with sauteed vegetables plus the soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, scallions, cabbage etc. Where is the standard?“

I had the grilled stead. It was very flavorful and tender. My niece had the skirt steak which was out of this world. The steak melted in your mouth. My sister-ion-law had the pernil which is her favorite. The food is cooked to perfection, and we left with plenty for another meal. The staff is helpful, friendly, and attentive, providing great customer service. Parking is a bit of an issue, but we were lucky in getting a spot in the lot.
