Just stumbled on to this place but the food was so good we made our way back home the same way to eat here again. Rose and Franco the owners and operators are the best hosts I've seen in a long time.
We time our trips between Ithaca and Albany to include dinners at this excellent BBQ restaurant. Their chicken speedie sandwiches with peppers and onions are our favorites. We also love their bbq beans and home made potato chips. The best part now is they have plenty of outdoor seating with option to sit at tables with plexiglass barriers to social distance if you have a couple families.

Skip the drive through and go to Rubera's! My family and I were headed through town and took a chance based on it being family owned and good reviews. It was 100% worth it. The owner served us herself and made us feel like family, even bringing out games for my three kids to play.
