“So glad we stopped by!! The rest of the family was opting for fast food but I saw this place on Yelp and wanted to check it out. It’s small but the service was super fast even though the place was full. Food was delish and so fresh - we got burgers, fries, a quesadilla that had good seasoning on the chicken - it wasn’t a typical bland chicken quesadilla. And the kids liked the “Bag o’ lemonade!”“

“I had such a wonderful experience at Royale. First it has an awesome bar and restaurant indoors and the space outdoors is beautifully decorated. I have celiac disease and they had the most delicious gluten free nachos (made on site) ever! They were perfect. I was so happy I could have them and they were excellent! Great atmosphere and food! Highly recommend when in the Village.“

“Saw this on grubhub and since it was close by, decided to visit. Both burger and milkshake were excellent and done perfectly for my taste. Total cost was pretty good value and the space was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was that it was pretty busy, so order took a while and also I can see it might be difficult to get a seat during peak hours. Good thing most people are in and out pretty quickly. Also, there was a credit card processing fee if you choose to pay by card, which I thought was a bit uncommon in NY..“

Our female server should get a raise for her care and consideration. However the male server was highly unprofessional. He was shouting and swearing at a game and playing on his phone while dealing with us. Gave the general impression that he was annoyed there were customers. Only other bugbear was there were two lots of music being played over the top of each other. Please pick one and stick to it.“

“My wife and I visited Handcraft Burgers and Brews for my birthday this past weekend. As soon as my wife opened the menu she knew that I was going to have to try the burger of the month which was a peanut butter and grape jelly topped hamburger with jalapenos, bacon and cheese. Admittedly I have never had peanut butter and jelly on a burger before but I figured I would try something new and see what all of the hype was about. Turns out, I loved it! Every bite was so flavorful and completely made my birthday lunch a worthwhile venture! We also tried the tater tots, because who doesn't love a good tater tot. We could have chosen from multiple dipping sauces but we decided to go with the garlic aioli and I am glad we did. I dipped each of my tater tots in the sauce and there was plenty for both of us to share. We were helped by Vanessa at the restaurant and she was very accommodating when I was having trouble using a coupon that I had for my birthday. All in all this was a wonderful choice for my birthday lunch and when we are in the area again I would definitely stop by and perhaps try the latest burger of the month along with some tater tots and garlic aioli dipping sauce of course!“

Everybody was super friendly, we went at lunchtime and the guy at the counter and the two guys cooking the burgers were smiling and helpful the whole time. The burgers were so good!!!!! “I’m not sure how I missed this place, since they’ve been here since 2022! If I lived down here, near the Manhattan location, this would definitely be a weekly treat…if not more. Everything we tried over 2 days was insanely good. B.I.G burger, PLNT mushroom BBQ bacon burger, Chili, spicy dusted fries, black & white shake…and those Lil Dippers chkn-Nuggs…OMG! We debated the lil dippers, since they’re quite a bit more expensive than other offerings….but they were soooo f’ing worth it!

“We started with the Calamari which was very good. I like the tentacles and there were plenty of them, however, my GF is not as much into them. She had the prime rib which she found delightful. There was also a grouper that looked good and some interesting items. We did not make it to dessert had two rounds of wine.. This is our second time there. “IMPRESSIVE! My first time trying and they didn't disappoint on any level! Ordered the Brooklyn Burger meal. Normally I order my burgers medium-rare if I had the choice. Here, you don't. But lemme tell you, the medium-well patty was cooked to perfection and was the juiciest I've had in a long time - if ever! Kudos to Chef on their meat blend and fat ratio! The bun was so soft with added bonus of toasting which adds nice texture. Their sauce is nuanced and adds another layer of unctuousness to the bite without being overwhelming.

You get to choose from 3 different kinds of fries for your meal, which is practically unheard of in these days inflation. I opted for sweet potato fries. I like them extra crispy and that's exactly what they were! They may have even been twice fried because each fry had a magically crispy exterior and tender interior. It reminded me of classic Belgian pomme frites. They're served in an adorable cardboard cup lined with cone-shaped paper.

Their drink selection is small but decent and even had a Polar seltzer Apple Lime flavor that I've never tried.

For real though... their combo meal is a few dollars more than Mc D's combos down the block. It's worth spending more for better food.

“10/10 place. I won't lie I usually only do reviews if there is a incentive or if I dislike the place. This however, is a great establishment the burgers taste fantastic they're not overly expensive considering other food options around the area as well as similar smash burger spots.

It's become my favorite go to burger place... the portions are great, the menu is great, good staff, good prices.

If you are familiar with 7th street burger or other viral similar smash burger spots this is a better version of them all. They definitely could use some marketing to get a bit more bussines but man this is probably now my favorite take out place in all of bayside.“

“Was here for the first time after our T2T run . Service by Nicole was prompt , knowledgeable and highly professional . Appetizers were delish . We loved our first experience . I recommend just getting the Farmhouse burger ? with the regular fries ?. The burger comes with two thick patties that are juicy and flavorful, cooked to medium. The bread is a soft sesame brioche which pairs well with the meat. The bacon ? is thin and crispy. The melted cheese ? is in the background it doesn't come through much. The fried onion bits really enhance the flavor a lot. This is a very big burger so it's worth the ~$18 for the meal. (The prices on delivery apps are much higher)

I don't recommend getting the upgraded fries because the upgrades are not worth it. For example, the jalapeno cheese option has like 6 slices of jalapeno and 1 slice of cheese added to your fries. It does almost nothing to improve the flavor. The truffle fries are also not an improvement over the regular fries. You are better off putting your own toppings on at home.

The lemon cod ? sandwich is ok. It has a decent sized cut of fried fish, soft brioche and some toppings but nothing special and not a lot of flavor for the price. Rating 7/10.

The lemon pepper wings are not lemon pepper they are salt and black pepper. They are ok but I didn't taste any lemon pepper flavor. Lemon pepper is a very specific flavor made famous in the south and this is not it.

“I had a few minutes to kill before I picked up somebody at LaGuardia airport. I stopped in because I couldn’t find anything else. Boy am I glad I did! That was one of the best burgers and fries I’ve ever had. The grilled onions on the burger were fabulous! And the woman who took my order was very sweet. I highly recommend this place.
