Your are not treating your self right if you do not try Ecuadorian cuisine. If you are in the NYC area and you are from NY or from out of town make it a priority to expand your pallet. Don't just hangout in the tourist areas. Get the real New York experience by going to this restaurant and trying some good food from this beautiful South American country. Great Authentic Ecuadorian food. Came here with my family, including my mom who is very critical of Ecuadorian restaurants that are not up to par with her home cooking. She gave it an A+! I had the "Bandera" which is a huge plate with mix of tipical ecuadorian plates all in one. Shrimp cocktail, tripe stew, goat stew, tuna and yellow rice. It was really good! Love Ecuadorian food so happy we found a new go to spot!

The quality in the soups and dishes are out of this world. I ate here back to back! Don't be fooled by the prices either, the Portions are HUGE! You might wait a bit for your food but it's all prepared fresh and it's delicious. The skewers, sopa de bola and the empanada verde is wow! Let's not forget the rice and beans either... not like your typical.
