Bar & Grill near Patchogue

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “I’ve been coming to Spycoast pretty regularly since they opened and have always had a great time there. You always feel like you’re well taken care of, the service is fast and the staff is very friendly.

They have a great selection of beers on tap and make exceptional espresso martinis. I’ve tried a good amount of the food they have and everything is delicious. I’d recommend the orzo Mac n cheese, the wings and the chicken crust pizzas (any of them). I’ve also had a few of their specials and they always hit!

The last time I was there, our server Kat was highly attentive and recommended one of the specials, promising it wouldn’t disappoint — and, as always, she was right.

I’d highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good drinks and food and a perfect place to watch some sports.“

Parking: Use your GPS to find it, I could have never found it on my own. It’s a quiet little spot. Very busy on weekend nights during the summer!“

“Second time here for lunch. Food was excellent. Very generous portions. Enjoyed Rueben sandwiches with a side salad, onion rings, pickle and delicious coleslaw. The onion rings were crispy. We really enjoyed them as well as the rest of our meal. Our server was also excellent. Friendly and attentive. Will definitely return.“

“This place just does it right! We keep stopping in and diving deeper into the menu and trying different things, we love all of them. Our 11 month old was with us this weekend and our server was awesome with him as well. “I recently hosted my bridal shower at Villa Olivetti, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was exceptional; all my guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. An added bonus was the complimentary ice cream they provided when we brought our own cake, which was a lovely touch.

The staff at Villa Olivetti were incredibly attentive. They made sure everyone had drinks and were comfortable throughout the event. They were also very accommodating to guests with specific food preferences or allergies, ensuring everyone had a great time.

Overall, Villa Olivetti made my bridal shower a memorable and enjoyable event. I highly recommend them for any special occasion.“

“James, owner of Mallory Square was absolutely wonderful Supporting the Sayville Library as they had a bake sale near his restaurant down by the ferry. He additionally. donated for a second fundraiser

Mallory is a cute Spot with a casual indoor outdoor bar and dining area. It is just steps from the Pines and Cherry Grove Ferries, making it great for a missed ferry or in between ferries. Heidi has been there for years and is simply wonderful behind the bar. The food is excellent. It is tasty, quick and handy or sandwiches you can sit for.

And James is simply over the moon! Thank you for supporting the Sayville Library.“
